It's all about the food - and it is first rate. The barbecue here is #1 in San Diego. San Diegans who know where to get the best BBQ, and it's here. They are 1 mile away., so take-out works for us. The seating, however, is plentiful, and the restaurant is clean. It's an old-fashioned kind of place, you order what you want, wait for it and then find a seat. At meal times, the line can get long, so expect a wait at lunchtime and around 5:00PM - your wait will be worth it. It's all good, but some favorites are the sliced beef, beef ribs, beef stew, and pea soup.

This is Branden's favorite restaurant in all of San Diego County. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it.
