This was a great time. The house is on the same block as three restaurants, a coffee place and a bakery. So, most days, it was easy to walk for three minutes and get something to eat/drink. The dog was happy because the house was so close to the creek, in addition to large fields w/in walking distance. I also drove a decent amount, because I visited Athens, Hudson, Saugerties, Woodstock, Tannersville and other nearby towns. Emily's and Carol's house is within twenty minutes of a ton of places. The house is simple and had what I needed - a strong heater, two comfortable bedrooms, two baths, and a large table that accommodated my laptop, monitor and keyboard. Finally, during my month-long stay, I had a change of plans, and Emily & Carol were very helpful and understanding about the necessary re-arrangement. It was a great place to stay.

Jake was a perfect host, he was very responsive and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. The cottage is cozy for a getaway in a beautiful location. It is well equipped and comfortable, I highly recommend staying here, it is lovely. We will be back!

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

We enjoyed a beautiful early spring stay on the farm with a group of 7 ladies, gathering for a chill bachelorette weekend in Cold Springs. The farmhouse was super cozy; great for cooking, crafting, games, tea time, outdoor wine picnics, star gazing at night in the hot tub and making friends with the chickens! A great retreat spot for groups with all the amenities!

We spent the weekend at this amazing farmhouse and didn’t want to leave—seriously, we were this close to moving in. Mark and Whitney were absolute gems of hosts, making us feel instantly at home with everything we could possibly need. The vibe? Retro charm meets cozy comfort. The kitchen counter was so long and inviting, it became my hangout spot whether we were cooking or just chatting. My daughter claimed the little lounge outside the second bedroom as her study nook, our family friend took over the artsy fashion studio room, and my wife fell in love with the living room—aka the evening chill zone. We shared family-style dinners in the dreamy dining area, melted into the comfiest beds ever, and just when we thought it couldn’t get better… enter the old-school record player. Dropping the needle on vinyl while we lounged around? Pure, unexpected magic. The whole place had this nostalgic, feel-good energy that made the weekend unforgettable.

Madeline is a true professional as a host. This was our third time returning to her place because it has been a great experience every time in all ways. She is responsive and clear about what she offers and what she expects. Strongly recommend her and her beautiful place with great views

This place exceeded our expectations. I would recommend it hands down! My dogs felt right at home and started playing the moment we walked in (they are usually afraid of new places). We slept well, it has everything we needed and more. I will definitely be returning!

This is the second time time we've stayed at Carol's place. It's spacious, comfortable, with plenty of open rooms. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. This is becoming our yearly must-stay place!

Pictures don’t do justice! Craig’s place was lovely, from the amazing kitchen to the spacious living room and the outdoor patio. For a group getaway this is the perfect place. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Truly home sweet home. Just walk in and relax. Fully stocked kitchen including milk, eggs, butter and pastries so no need to rush out to go grocery shopping. Convenient to New Haven yet completely quiet neighborhood for resting and taking walks.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

The place was much bigger than the photos and we enjoyed the stay! especially the indoor fireplace and the house is beautifully decorated. Blake was a great host, she did a quick tour of the place when we arrived and gave us some flexible check out time because of the weather/road condition (thank you!) even though we left just before the check out time. Overall, it was a wonderful stay :)

Upon entry, my architect husband said "Cute Cottage; Susan you did it again." Plenty of room for a couple in their mid-seventies, and a Millennial daughter. The cottage is very well insulated such that I didn't have to run the heat except for fifteen minutes at bedtime in mid-October, yet there is a big south-facing sliding door in each of the rooms where the sun and moon shines through. Beautiful woodland falls away from the cottage and small patio beyond the sliding doors, and moonlight is magic on all the leaves. If we had more time we would have investigated the many books in the shelving. We will find excuses for coming back to the area and will stay here again.

Tina’s place is fabulous. The modern decor and architecture is beautiful. The location is peaceful and the fenced in yard was amazing; our dog loved roaming around and exploring. The outdoor space is great for grilling and sitting around the fire pit. We especially loved the kitchen. It is fully appointed and the kitchen island is incredible for prep and serving. The washer dryer combo was an excellent touch and we were able to do a couple of quick washes so that everything was clean and ready to unpack at home. Saving the best for last; the soaker tub in the master bedroom is luxurious and relaxing. Thank you, Tina. We can’t wait to visit again soon.

This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return! Gatherwild and the Shasta vintage camper was the perfect escape from the craziness of the city. I couldn't have picked a better, more peaceful place to relax, listen to nature, and stargaze. The camper is quaint but very well-kept and clean and there was more than enough room and storage for myself and my pup. Everything at Gatherwild feels very intentional and it feels like Laura has thought of everything–I didn't want to leave at all during my stay because I wanted to enjoy everything that the grounds had to offer. The bathrooms were super clean, the kitchen well-stocked, and the feeling of community surrounded the ranch. I was very sad to leave and can't wait to visit again, perhaps in fall, and stay in the camper again or even one of the beautiful tents!

We came to Norfolk for a show at the Infinity Music Hall. This house was a perfect landing spot to cook dinner before and relax after the show. It was so peaceful watching the snow fall from inside and the kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to cook. The appliances were top notch, the house was well decorated and we will definitely rent here again!

Stayed at Val's place for 4 months. We were very happy here, it's extremely spacious and the furniture is very comfortable. Plus, it has everything you will ever need during your stay from a screw driver to cheese grater which is often hard to find in rentals and you end up having to buy extra supplies if staying for an extended period of time like we were. The Location is perfect, a few minutes walk to Warren Street and 5 min drive to Fairview Ave. Host is so helpful and responsive. Five + stars. Thank you Val!

We had the absolute best stay at Jeanie’s home! It was beautiful, spacious, and so well decorated, and the property couldn’t be more peaceful. The chickens and ducks in the backyard were so fun to watch, and really made the stay so magical. Jeanie was so helpful too, with lots of local recommendations and made our whole trip so easy! The house oozes with charm and character, and we couldn’t have loved it more!

We stayed at Ryan's place while visiting family in the area over the holiday weekend. The place was comfortable and clean and the bonus of being able to bring our pups was the best part. The dog park down the road was amazing and the locals were very friendly. The location was great, very convenient to shops, grocery store, gas etc. Overall we had a great time. Thanks again, Ryan!

The loft was lovely: fireplace, large balcony, view down the mountain, TV with airplay support, kitchen, etc. the surrounding was quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and very friendly. Would recommend to others.

This was the perfect stay. I felt at home and the grounds are beautiful. The location is a perfect getaway but close to a lovely small town. The owners are great, kind, and so thoughtful. We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.
