Anthony’s place was adequate. It wasn’t a great price compared to many of the other places we stayed at on this trip, but Berlin does tend to be more expensive, so I suppose that was to be expected.

The good:

Excellent location in the sense that it was very close to a train station, so accessing the rest of Berlin via their exceptional public transit was a breeze. Get a train/subway pass for the duration of your stay in Berlin. It’s the best and easiest way to get around.

The home was very spacious. Lots of room.

Anthony has lots of kitchen amenities to prepare food.

The bad:

The home is right next to the train tracks, so it’s quite noisy.

No a/c. If you visited during the summer, I suspect it would be very uncomfortable - especially since he’s on the 5th floor (no elevator).

The place was cluttered (including the room we stayed in), and not particularly clean (it’s impossible to properly clean with that much clutter, especially in the kitchen.

Really loved our time at Anthony’s.. Neukölln is such a wonderful area and was really wonderful to explore. The apartment was beautiful, and we felt so looked after, and the communication throughout made us feel very at ease.
