Absolutely love this place! So private, on a ton of land with a gate and everything, and so many amenities, the indoor pool is absolutely crazy! Love it

The property was exactly as described in the listing. The photos represented the actual house very well. Everything in the house was neat and clean as well. Nikki was very responsive to any questions we had and worked to accommodate us as much as possible. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

Staying at Ms. Donna’s Airbnb was an absolute delight from start to finish! I recently hosted a small family Christmas gathering, and the experience could not have been more perfect. The home was impeccably clean, cozy, and welcoming—exactly what we needed for a festive holiday celebration. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and everything was easy to find and access. Donna’s communication was outstanding! She responded to my inquiries within an hour, both before and after our stay, and her instructions were so thorough that I didn’t even need to reach out during the rental. She was also incredibly sweet and understanding about a few things we discussed, making the entire process stress-free. Million dollar views! We enjoyed our stay beautiful views of the sunset right on the lake. This place was so peaceful. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Scott communicated and checked on us during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

Very convenient to the Whitewater Center, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I especially appreciated that the house wasn’t cluttered so there wasn’t much for my toddler to mess with.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was spectacular, the area was peaceful, and it was close to lots of things to do. The apartment was stocked with everything I needed for the stay. I enjoyed the decor and I felt comfortable and right at home when relaxing in the space. The hosts were friendly and responsive. I would stay here again.

Absolutely AMAZING! We loved this place! The city views are breathtaking! The entire condo was clean and definitely gives off a home feel. I will for sure be booking this spot if I’m ever staying in Charlotte for a couple nights. Worth every penny! Host was also very nice, very friendly! Responses quickly and accommodates any needs! The structure of the building makes getting the keys a bit of a journey in the beginning but after that the stay is amazing. From the comfort of the apartment itself to the great view from the upper deck. The host is extremely helpful and very responsive. If I knew it was this close a walk to the Bank of America stadium I would have came during football season.

this COMPOUND was better than pics give credit. it’s a lot of space with a lot of privacy, great combination. very spacious, great bathrooms. excellent communication with host made it easy. highly recommended

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

This place was an unexpected surprise as to how nice it was. It was perfect for four women going to Merlefest. It was 9 miles away from the festival which was not a big deal for driving back and forth. It was also a welcome get away from the crowds as it is on a mountain with a great view and is pretty remote but not remote enough to be a driving burden. It was exquistely clean. Darren was available within minutes for any questions. The deck was perfect for coffee drinking and visiting in the mornings before facing the crowds. All in all, a great place to stay. The only disadvantage is that the road is kind of rough going up and there are many ruts to avoid. I assume that the neighbors, etal , HOA or whomever will grade the road in the near future.. I know it is hard to maintain a gravel road as we have a lakehouse on a grave road... so I think it will probably be improved soon...

Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway right on the water. The hosts were very responsive and equipped the house with everything you could need. They provided a fire pit, grill, kayaks, and canoes which were perfect activities given the weather. There are houses nearby but it still felt like we had our privacy. We would definitely rent this house again and come back to Lake Norman!

My family and I lost our home and everything inside the day before we stayed here. I couldn't express what joy it was to feel safe and clean in such a nice place after the disaster. Thank you for the hospitality and generosity with the thoughtful snacks, coffee, water, and available alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines and ciders. We would absolutely stay here again, as it truly was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in

An unbelievable treasure. I now know if I ever get to build my retirement home this is what it will be modeled after. We got to explore, play in the creek, my kids played outside the entire time and did not once ask for TV time. It was a very well decorated but also baby proofed house which I always appreciate. So many kitchen amenities and tons of towels for use and helpful things everywhere. The cozy gas fireplace made me most relaxed after the kids went to bed. We also felt incredibly safe. Never once crossed my mind to feel uncomfortable. Hands down we loved it and can't wait to come back. it's a total gem!!

What a peaceful escape! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly tucked away in a beautiful, secluded spot. The gentle sound of the creek made for the most calming backdrop, like nature’s lullaby. We loved spending evenings by the bonfire and relaxing in the hammock, listening to the birds. Even our cat seemed totally at ease, exploring and soaking it all in. The hosts were so kind and quick to respond to any questions. Everything about our stay felt easy and special—we couldn’t have asked for more. Would absolutely come back!
