The town of Cabarete and Ecuentro Beach have all that you need for an exiting vacation for all kind of tastes and ages. You can find all kind of water sports like Surfing, Paddleboard, Kite Surfing, Wind Surfing as well as motocross, horseback riding , and cave exploration. If water sports are not your thing there are plenty of restaurants that have live music as well as karaoke nights and open mic nights. You can always lay down in a hammock with your favorite drink and enjoy the beautiful views and relax and watch the amazing view of all the Kite Surfers. is like nothing you have seen before. Kids have plenty to do. The beach of course is the main attraction but there is also Volleyball, horse riding, Surf schools and four tracks excursions. Kids also learn how to open a cocoanut and drink pineapple juice straight from the pineapple. Parents can join the kids with their own Pina Colada

Wether night or day, Cabarete is a great place to visit! During the day you can take a walk on this kilometers long beach, go shopping in some of the great stores around town, have some cocktails or amazing food on the beach or simply lay down on a chaise lounge while you sip on coconut water and watch the hundreds of colorful kitesurfers far our through the different bays of Cabarete and Kite Beach. At night the beach is well illuminated and you can take a walk through the different bars, enjoy live music or dancing and fruity cocktails, it's going to be so much fun! My favorite places on the beach: Drifters, Mojito Bar, Lax, Front Loop and Le Bistro. If you have kids make sure to go to Front Loop, lots of kids of all ages gather there and have a great time playing together!

Super popular for the huge variety of food. It is most know for a lot of Kiteboarding. Night life is the best ones you could in the country, many bar and night clubs around.

The Caribbean’s hub for windsurfing, kiteboarding, and laser sailing, Playa Cabarete–also known as “Kite Beach” on the western side–is where you can learn and practice wind water sports all year round. On weekends, especially in the summer, the sails and kites are all out on the water, which makes for dreamy photographs. There’s plenty of space for swimming and relaxing as well, facing the many restaurants, bars, shops, and lounges on the eastern side of the beach. International kitesurfing championships are hosted here during the year. Excellent walking beach, great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner right on the beach. Rent chaise lounges and relax! Order your food right from your lounge.
