The pier is great for walking, and there is a great Farmer's market Wednesday and Saturday.

Rentals & Charters. 1/2 mile walk from house. Charter Fishing: There are over 40 charter boats that are registered with seasoned captains who know where to take you, how deep to fish, and what bait is producing. Just walk along the pier and pick one.

Buy ice cream, get some beach attire, plan a charter fishing trip and then ride the trolley back home from this spot that marks the beginning of Grand Haven's boardwalk to the pier. There is also a farmer's market here on Wed. & Sat. from 8am-1pm.
