One of the smallest, most historic and unique pubs in London. A must visit.
This is an ABSOLUTE GEM of a London pub. Very ancient building, independent brewery, wonderful beers and best of all.... NO TELLY AND NO MUSIC! just the sound of voices.
Our favourite pub. A real sense of history here stocked exclusively with beer from artisan brewers St Peters. It can get a bit busy with people spilling outside but try to hold out for the small table in the "eagle's nest" ... you will never leave. The only problem is it's closed on weekends. The Crown on Clerkenwell Green, The Lamb on Lamb's Conduit and Queens Larder on Queen Square are all lovely and worth a visit for a pint.
