This railway line was an amazing feat of engineering constructing the line 20 miles over the deep bog of Rannoch Moor. It made the vital link from the north of Scotland to the south. The railway line links up with Harry Potter's train to school. Great soup and snacks at the cafe on the Station.
To get to this out-of-the-way tea shop you travel along beautiful Loch Rannoch and cross the iconic Rannoch Moor. Look out for Golden eagles and summer Osprey. Well worth a visit.
Well worth a visit - beautiful drive, lots of wildlife and walks on the doorstep. Right on the railway platform - very quaint. The staff are superb and make the best homemade cakes in the area. I would definitely recommend the scones and getting there early so you don't miss out on the cakes!
