If you're interested in how Washington gets its power or spawning of salmon through the dams, the visitor center is a fun place to visit.
Awesome family centered park with visitor center. The best feature is the "fish ladder" where you get to see lots of fish passing through the dam.
Fantastic museum built into one of the largest dams on the Columbia River It's totally free and covers a lot of ground... local history, native american culture, geology, electricity, and how the dams fit into everything. It's totally awesome for families and a good rainy day activity. The drive down to Wenatchee is really pretty too!
