A transplant from Elgin (Sausage Capital of Texas). Get the sausage poppers (deep fried sausage stuffed with jalapenos stuffed with cheese).

It wouldn't be right if you didn't stop in this place for a bunch of ribs or a whole cut up smoked chicken! My favorite sides are their mac n cheese, and their mac n cheese. lol!

Southside is proud to offer Authentic Texas Barbeque. Best known as the home of the Original Elgin Sausage, we're equally proud of the slow smoked brisket, pork steaks, ribs, chicken, turkey, and more at our family style restaurant. We also offer a fresh meat market, an ice cream counter.
