A cool little bar in the Marigny with a pool table, good music, and usually some weird movie playing on the projection screen. On Mardi Gras Day there is a wonderful sea of costumes shoulder to shoulder out front.

Better known as the Tru Tone Bar to NCIS: New Orleans fanatics, the R Bar is a local hangout located inside of the Royal Street Inn. Spend a night out in NOLA like Agent Pride and advantage of their expansive beer collection and local feel. Locate just a few blocks from the Blanche in the heart of the Marigny Triangle.

Unassuming, unpretentious little bar is a bohemian hangout for a game of pool, and you can get a haircut in the barber chair there on Monday nights. The place becomes a major hub of depravity during Mardi Gras and Halloween.
