Austin's oldest hotel- an iconic landmark! Featuring a nightly band and dance floor and a restaurant open daily! The Driskill is located on Brazos and 6th street in downtown Austin and was built in 1885. The Driskill has a gorgeous lobby with marble floors and a stained glass dome. Check out the hotel's museum-quality art work in the mezzanine and grab a drink in the Texas bar afterwards! The Driskill is said the be haunted, find out for yourself.

This is a famous iconic building for our downtown area. Great place for brunch or coffee. Also, it happens to be the second building in Austin to get a telephone in the early 1900's! I'll let you discover the rest
