The home of Irish flat racing and where the Irish Derby is held annually. The Curragh also a great place to walk due to its expanse. It is also where parts of the fim "Braveheart" were filmed.

Curragh is very famous because of the Braveheart movie scenes. It also has a very famous horse racecourse.

The Curragh racecourse is only 15 minutes drive from Killossy B&B. The Curragh is always a good day out for all the family.
