Palmachim beach nature reserve is about 20 minute drive away. There is a paid parking lot to enter (low cost), lifeguard, showers restrooms and a snack stand with basic ice creams/drinks/beer/snacks. For food I recommend bringing your own picnic and/or stopping at the malabi and Turkish burekas stand on the road on the way in. For an area that is less busy with people walk all the way to either end of the beach. If you walk all the way to the right, there are small pools from the rock formations (depending on the tide). Note that there is no lifeguard on either end of the beach just in the middle where you will enter.
