An 8.6 mile moderately challenging hike in the Buckhorn Wilderness, this is one of our favorite hikes in the area. Can also take a side trail to a 1952 B-17 crash site.
This hike is a little bit of everything! From lake lakes, creeks to canyons and mountain passes! There are multiple destinations along this tail, so you can tailor the hike as you see fit! The hike to the Tubal Mine is about a 7 mile roundtrip, with a 1600 ft elevation. Its requires the Northwest Forest Pass. Do not forget to check road conditions online before you head out there, especially in the winter!
