At Penn & Beech, our in-store experience is one of a kind, just like the custom scents tailored to your unique self. Creating is a social experience at Penn & Beech - perfect for date nights, girls’ night out, bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, team-building events, and more. Do I need a reservation to pour a candle? Reservations are strongly encouraged for groups of all sizes and can be made here via Yelp for parties of 8 or less. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins, but note that there may be a wait depending on the day and time. For information regarding reservations for groups of 9+, private parties, and large group events, please call or go to their website. How long does it take to pour a candle? This entire process of smelling, selecting your jar and fragrances, designing your label, and creating your custom-scented product takes about one hour, but it’s up to you and how quickly you’d like to move through the process. You are welcome to enjoy a beverage while seated at the Fragrance Bar, available at our Indianapolis locations. Make your own candle scent in about an hour. A fun activity during a visit to Mass Ave. After you make your candle there are many restaurants and bars nearby to enjoy while you wait for you candle to set. A fun group activity.
