Located at Walney - remember to wrap yourself up warm, they call it windy Walney for a very good reason.
More than 250 species of bird have been recorded at the site and it is home to Cumbria’s only colony of grey seals (access to the beach where the seals are located is prohibited, however seal trips from nearby Roa Island are available via the Piel Island ferry, link below).
Wonderful scenery, wildlife, and of course the hundreds of seals that play in the water and bask on the beach
