plantation is from the 1700s and has beautiful gardens and overlooks the water. Check the schedule as wine festivals, weddings, and other events are frequently held here as well as historical reenactments.

This is the sole surviving fully-interpreted Tidewater plantation in Maryland. Sotterley Plantation overlooks the Patuxent River. The Manor House is filled with history. Take a surreal journey through the 1703 mansion, authentic 1800s slave cabin, Colonial revival gardens, nature trails and numerous historic buildings.
