This is a wonderful state park! We have an annual pass and visit frequently. It costs $5 per person to get in. There’s a boat ramp with plenty of parking, a groomed sandy swimming beach, and tons of trails for hiking or mountain biking. There’s a lot of wildlife to see in the park- we’ve enjoyed seeing plenty of deer with their babies, turtles, fish, and even the monarch butterfly migration! One more thing to note, the state of Texas allows you to fish without a license in a state park, but always check with the park ranger to confirm first.
