For those wishing to get out of the village and explore, Dalby Forest is a great day trip. Half an hour drive will have you in the beauty of the forest, with a whole host of activities. Admission by car to Dalby Forest is via a toll road, but it's free for cyclists and walkers. Address: Dalby Forest Dr, Low Dalby, Pickering YO18 7LT Hours 9am-5.30pm Gates are locked at 7pm
