Little has changed in this fish and chip shop since 1948, a coal fired fryer and beef dripping to fry the chips from local potatoes and fresh Grimsby fish. Delicious and a real taste of history!! Quite a long way from the cottage!

Featured in the 2015 Good Food Guide. Fish and chips cooked traditionally in a coal fired cooking range to the same batter recipe since 1948, but expect long queues in Summer as customers travel from miles around! The opening times are only on Friday 17:00 - 20:30 and Saturday 11:00 - 13:30
