Best place to see the large herd of elk. Early mornings and evenings you are "almost certain" to see them. Pack a snack, and settle in to enjoy their interactions, while you have an incredible view of Mt. Si. (Leash your pup though -- they have been known to chase the elk into the road)

Historic, working farm site with trails and educaton. The tiny town of Meadowbrook and its one way bridge is a very cool sidetrip.

Beautiful spot to watch wild elk grazing, just 5 min. from downtown North Bend. Early morning and evening are the best times to see them.
