Plavi Horizonti beach is situated in a beautiful natural cove and is part sand, part small pebbles. It is one of the few true sandy beaches in the region. It is an ideal beach because the water is completely flat and calm it is shallow for a long way out, gradually deepening very slowly, so good for young children. Once you’re in the sea, it’s soft sand underfoot and beautiful clear water. If you ventured off over to the right towards the rocks at the edge of the cove, the water deepened and there were tons of colourful fish swimming around so don't forget your snorkels and face masks. There’s a bar / restaurant there and shaded wooded area if you need to cool off. Parking is a short walk through the pine trees. We love the walks in the shade of the trees on the paths surounding the bay. There is a beautiful walk to Bigova.
