This small Ramen and Sushi bar is a great place to go in terms of cost benefit. Their futomaki rolls are a bargain, they are custom made and you get a complimentary miso soup with it. Their Ramen dishes are also great and they are located at the heart of city centre.

Proper Japanese food in the city. This place doesn't take bookings but the queue outside the restaurant moves quickly.
