Havnevigen is an artificial beach in the middle of the modern architecture of “Islands Brygge” is the nearest “beach” and a cosy area to hang out and bathe, especially with children. It is right in front of the amazing big wild nature park “Amager Fælled” for nice walks or hikes on the hills.

This Harbour Beach is a 3 minutes walk away, and it attracts all kind's of people in the summer. It's free to use. The water quality is checked frequently like in the harbour baths, but there are no life guards, so you swim at your own risk! People use it all year, but I recommend that you only go swimming outside the season in the safe surrounding of one of the many clubs for winter swimming.
