Great view of the lake and venue for plays. In August, the "Shake on the Lake Festival" has performances of Shakespeare's play by professional actors from around the country.

The beach provides lovely views and photographic opportunities for visitors. It is a wonderful place to bring a blanket and picnic, or read a book and enjoy the lake. Parking is available close to the road (Walker Rd), and it is easy to bring lawn chairs down to the grass from the gravel parking lot. Summer concerts here are a must see with beautiful sunsets.
