The old fashioned market here from 8am-mid afternoon is in interesting experience, and you can pick up anything from coffee to clothes to household items from local sellers.

As the first monastery founded in the North of England, Selby Abbey boasts beautiful architecture and is only a 10 minute car or bus journey from the village. Lunch with a view - Capri, located beside Selby Abbey.
