This is a hidden gem in Lorne so we often head there for a picnic. Easy riverside walk and beautiful waterfall, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do

Follow the trail and walk through beautiful scenery for 90 minutes and you will arrive at the 15 metre high Phantom Falls on the St George River, 2km from Lorne. Experienced walkers looking for a challenge can take the strenuous trail to Cora Lynn Cascades from the base of the falls.

best time to go is June July 3.6km round trip time around 75-90 mins how to get there.. get onto Allenvale Rd follow unsealed rd about 1.5km until reach Allenvale carpark on the left. The Phantom falls track begins opposite the Allenvale Rd from the carpark not at the end of the carpark as that track leads to the camping ground.

Phantom Falls is found in the Otway forest along a nice walking trail. There are several walking trails around the Otway region and many can be reached by walking directly from Lorne or by taking a short 5-10 minute car ride.
