Burgplein is the administrative heart of the city and the oldest part of Bruges. On the Burg we can see the various important monuments such as the town hall, the registry of the Brugse Vrije and the Holy Blood Chapel

Met de city hall, de oudste kerk van Brugge, de toegang naar de 2 andere pleintjes, een mooie en open plaats.

Mooi pleintje met de Basiliek van het Heilig Bloed dat jaarlijks door de stad wordt geparadeerd. Minder druk dan Markt, Burg is een plein in het stadscentrum met een gevarieerd aanbod van gebouwen in verschillende stijlen (gotiek, renaissance, neo-classicistisch) er omheen, waarvan de meest indrukwekkende het gotische stadhuis. Tal van restaurants, maar ze zijn meestal duur. Lovely little square housing the Basilica of the Holy Blood which is paraded annually around the city. Finding out a little of the history of the square is a must.Less busy than Markt, Burg is a city centre square with a varied array of buildings in different styles (Gothic, Renaissance, Neo-Classicist) surrounding it, the most impressive being the Gothic Stadhuis (Town Hall). Plenty of restaurants but they are mostly expensive. Schöner kleiner Platz mit der Basilika des Heiligen Blutes, die jährlich um die Stadt herumgeführt wird. Ein wenig über die Geschichte des Platzes zu erfahren, ist ein Muss: Weniger belebt als der Markt ist Burg ein Platz im Stadtzentrum, der von einer Vielzahl von Gebäuden in verschiedenen Stilrichtungen (Gotik, Renaissance, Neoklassizismus) umgeben ist das gotische Rathaus. Viele Restaurants, aber sie sind meistens teuer.
