348-352 Lakeshore Drive, Fontana, WI (17 miles) On the western shore of Geneva Lake is the Village of Fontana Beach, a large sandy beach with wide grassy area and changing rooms. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day, seven days a week, from 9:30 am to 6 pm.

A great view of the lake. Sand real-estate as well as grass, bathrooms not bad, restaurants and resorts nearby. Great for daily visits as well as multiple days. Great boating and fishing just across the Illinois/Wisconsin line. 10 bucks for the beach admission, prolly about the same for 5 to 6 hours of parking.

We love going to the beach and hopping on the scenic 26-mile Lake Shore path.

Fontana beach is a destination for many who enjoy the large sand beach and grassy area with volley ball pit.
