Stroll the street market every Thursday evening from June through September and the farmer's market every Sunday from May through September.

Every Thursday from June through August at 5.30 to 8.30. Everything from local farm produce to locally produced arts and crafts, jewelry and clothing. Lots of street food vendors and all the shops in Sidney stay open when it is on. And there's always live music. Great way to experience the Island. 3.4km or a 5 minute drive away. Or take a 40 minute walk down the seafront or a 20 minute bus. Parking can be a problem on Thursday evenings.

Sidney St Market is on in the parking area of the Mary Winspear Center. The Sunday Market is open May - Sep 10am to 2pm The Thursday Night Market is June- Sep 4:30 to 8:30 pm This is a great place to discover local artisans, and buy fresh local produce and other foods. There are usually food trucks and other street foods as well.

Westcoast Impressions was formed in 1995 by Laurie and Bill (Mac) McDermid. The company's focus is on supporting the arts and entrepreneurs. During the past 26 years, Westcoast Impressions has owned and operated the First and Last Chance Christmas Craft Shows, from 2003 to 2005. They also operated West Coast Impressions Gallery in Sidney in the early 2000's. Since 2004, Laurie has organized the Sidney Street market, and most recently, Westcoast Impressions has successfully managed the Sidney Street Market for the past 9 years, bringing together a wide range of vendors, musicians and talent. Westcoast Impressions works with teams of talented people to organize events and markets. With over 26 years of experience, WCI has a keen understanding of the intricate, and unique elements associated with market management.

Sidney Spit Marine Park boasts the finest beaches of all parks in the Victoria region of Vancouver Island.
