Big Springs in Island Park is a majestic sight to behold. Acting as one of the headwaters of the Snake River, the spring pumps out over 120 million gallons of water every day. Perched along Big Springs is Johnny Sack cabin constructed nearly a century ago, this picturesque landmark is a must-see when you’re in Island Park!

Spring produces over 120 million gallons of water per day. Flows right out of mountain. Crystal clear. Can see big trout under bridge. Take bread to feed trout. Historical Landmark there: Johnny Sack Cabin. He built it himself about 80 years ago. Big Springs is located just 4 miles up the road from our cabin.
