Cracker Country, a rural Florida living history museum, was established in 1978 by Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Carlton, Jr. so future generations might better understand and appreciate Florida's rural heritage.

It's a great place to create memories that will last a lifetime with your children or grandchildren. Cracker Country is open during the Florida State Fair, selected Saturdays throughout the fall, and for school programs and private tours by reservation only.

Cracker Country is a rural Florida living history museum located on the Florida State Fairgrounds. The museum is open every day of the annual Florida State Fair in February, and throughout the year by reservation for education programs and group tours.
