The park is a nice stroll along the river side with several botanic sections, mostly from Portugal’s former colonies. The park is named after a 16th century Portuguese naturalist and one of the pioneers in tropical medicine. Near waterfront and cable car and cycle route. It's between the MEO arena and Torre Vasco Da Gama.
