This popular cave is located along the northeast coast in National Park Arikok near Boca Prins. The Fontein Cave is well known for its native Arawak Indian rock paintings which can still be found on the walls and ceilings. The brownish-red paintings were left by Caquetios and graffiti imprinted by European settles.

Fontein Cave is 43 minutes (22.3 km) drive from Barcelo Aruba. The Quadirikiri and Fontein caves are close to each other, so it is a good idea to visit them in one trip e.g. a tour. The cave has amazing pictographs created by the Caquetio tribes and early European settlers. The chambers available for tourists are easy to navigate and well lit. There are local bat populations.
