The Rose Bowl, which happens the second Sunday of every month, is a rite of passage for any collector. I’ve been going for 25 years, and it's this incredible melting pot of people and things. People always ask: Where do you take people in L.A.? I take them to the Rose Bowl. General admission doesn’t start till 9, but you can get in as early as 5 for a $20 fee. For the best finds, you’ve got to go at the crack of dawn. You just have to.
