This little french cafe is a locally-loved, classic fixture on historic Broad street. It's totally affordable and community-dining oriented. The food is great.

20 min walk. Great duck-in spot especially if you are solo. The winding bar counter is a perfect perch while peaking at your guide book. Great soup & sandwich. fastandfrenchcharleston.com

Hands down one of the best places in town, a local favorite for more than 30 years. Very affordable for downtown. Casual, not fancy at all. Simply the best coffee around (this is where we get the coffee for the Airbnb).
