A self-guided heritage walk around the perimeter of Hobson Bay. You start from Brighton Road and reach the foreshore via Elam Street where steps lead to the beach front. The walk begins at the coastal foreshore of Hobson Bay and connects with a constructed wooden walkway across incredibly beautiful bushclad gullies and coastal marshland. Average and above fitness. Takes 1.5 hours.

A tidal walkway. It can be muddy - at high tide parts are underwater - so be prepared. You can reach it from the bottom end of Tohunga Crescent. Turn right/eastwards to walk along the wooden walkways towards Shore Rd Reserve, or turn left/eastwards to get towards Awatea Reserve and the steep (!) walk uphill to Awatea Rd.
