Boccadasse is the most beautiful beach close to the city center and the airbnb. Once a tiny fisher village, you can still find those colourful, characteristic old houses which are typical for Liguria. You can go to the beach, enjoy the sun, swim in the mediterranian sea and enjoy a great aperitivo in one of the beach bars. And of course: Try the typical focaccia Genovese. ;)

One of the most characteristic places of Genova. Definitely a must see on a beautiful day. To get there, you can take the public transport (bus 20+17), but I advise to get off a couple of stops before and enjoy the walk (corso Italia) to get there. To eat, I suggest accompanying this beautiful place with a ‘cono fritto’ - small fried fish you can get from a local pescheria.

Everybody have heard about the Cinque Terre - the lovely picturesque villages about an hour south of Genoa - but very few know that a very similar enchanted village lies right in the heart of the city of Genoa. Go early on a summer day, bring your towel and take a place in the sun, buy a Panera ice cream (a mix of coffee and ice cream typical of this part of Italy) and enjoy the Day - and don’t forget your swimming suit!
