Must see if you fancy Nature. Great walking paths! Amazing Bird watching! Riperian area down near the Hasayampa River so it tends to be a little cooler. Watch for birds, fox, javelina, snakes, and many many more species of wildlife. They have a great visitor center as well!

Great hiking, a true desert oasis. Also apparently one of the top bird-watching destinations in the southwest! Closes at 430 and charges a small fee per person.

Picnic and hike at The Nature Conservancy's Hassayampa River Preserve. This lush stream-side habitat is home to some of the desert’s most spectacular wildlife. Nature trails, Birding activities and picnic area where a natural underground river's crystal clear waters emerge. A small but interesting nature park at a little oasis in the desert. The trails are easy and intermediate hikes; a good place for bird watchers too.
