When you visit mill there is a lovely tour giving the history of the mill and afterwards you can enjoy a coffee in their café. They stock alot of artisan products from around the area and you can definitely pick up some lovely original gifts here to bring home. They also do a lovely christmas market.

The Foxford Woollen Mills is a great spot to visit for a shopping or a bite to eat. The working mills produces the best of Irish-made products from throws, blankets, scarves, baby blankets & rugs to furnishing fabrics, all woven at the centre. It has an extensive range of homeware, giftware and a fabulous cafe with homemade dishes and takeawy treats. Don't forget to look in the bargin box for special priced items. The Mill also has a guided tour which offers a truly unique experience giving the background to the Mill, why it was set up in Foxford in 1892, the challenges that were faced and how they were overcome.
