The house is in a very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. It’s very well maintained and squeaky clean. The location is very good because you’re not far away from anything. We stayed at the house on a work trip so I didn’t cook much however I did fix my breakfast & the kitchen was equipped with everything I needed. Our host was very responsive and we will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay with Eddie &Gabrielle. Nice home with well thought of extras. Your coffee fix is available if you drink it(we don't) as well as basic supplies. This home was 1/4 mile from our daughter so the location was perfect for us. Most attractions or restaurants were within a 15-20 minute radius at max.

Deborah's home was the perfect place for a long weekend girls trip! The house itself is beautiful with charming, interesting decor, and we loved just lounging around the house and outdoor spaces. The kitchen is fantastic and is stocked with high quality amenities. We walked to the restaurants and shops on Montague multiple times a day. It was a quick, easy walk, and we felt safe at all times. The restaurants in this area are some of the best we've ever experienced. Deborah's local recommendations were great, and she was an exceptionally gracious and helpful host!

We LOVED every minute of our stay at Camp Huron. The beach is walkable- the neighborhood pretty and the house is awesome. The outdoor shower is the best! We definitely will be back!

We stayed here for my sister's bachelorette, and it was great! The house looks exactly like the pictures, has a great vibe, and was clean. It is also spacious for people to spread out some. The host was responsive when needed. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The location was as described, so a 15-20 minute drive into downtown. It was definitely a good house for a big group wanting a hot tub, and I can see how it could be good for a family wanting to spread out and be able to have some quiet time as well. Thanks so much!

My 13-yr old and I booked this last minute Easter Break getaway with the goal of visiting some of the places from the Netflix show, Outerbanks, hitting the beach, eating great food, soaking up some history, and checking out the College of Charleston’s campus. Our stay was magical. We wish we stayed longer! This unit was the perfect position between Folly Beach and downtown. The neighborhood was peaceful and parking was not a battle (like it is in downtown and at the beach). It was so comforting to come back after being out all day and relax. The welcome binder with recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat with specifications of what they were known for (like cocktails) was SO helpful. We loved the convenience of having everything we needed in the kitchen to start our mornings slow without having to run out first thing. The Nespresso machine was the chef’s kiss. The beds were soft and gloriously large. We plan to make it a tradition!

My family had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was so close to my wedding venue and offered everything we needed while my family was in town!

The Airbnb place was great and the room w/queen mattress was very comfortable. The location worked well bc we went downtown frequently and either Uber or Lyft. Make sure to compare prices before booking for each destination! We had a blast 💥 and would absolutely come again! We extended our stay with was much appreciated and only paid $100. Great deal. Suggestions: the bath towels could’ve been bigger. We are not big people, and it was a challenge to keep our modesty in tact. It would be great to have a list of places to check out such as Cypress Gardens, have to tour but do self tour! Folly Beach was my favorite, Sullivan’s Island no beach 🪑 and 10’min walk for a bathroom. Isle of Palms very nice we hung out at Smugglers Bar was so much fun Dave the manager was great, Shem Creek great place! Downtown was so much fun and checking out the variety of bars and Rival RoofTop was great experience. A list of places that are fun for mix ages would’ve been great, but we figured it out. 5 ⭐️s

cute place. Very clean. A little close to the highway could hear traffic at night. Easy to get into Charleston. Host promptly responded . Would stay there again.

The Borough’s place was the perfect place to get away for a couple of days. It was an easy drive to Isle of Palms beach. We loved that the place was pet friendly. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!

We stayed in Robert’s private guest suite for one night and it was perfect, had everything we needed. The suite was spacious and a great and comfy place to crash before our early morning flight out of Charleston. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I were in Charleston for a concert. The location was convenient for us and super easy to find. It was easy for us to jump on the highway and be where we needed in less than 15 mins. very pleased.

We had a wonderful few days in this beautiful, comfortable home. There’s ample space to relax in the yard, including a hammock beneath palm trees, a covered patio, and a front porch. There’s ample space inside is gorgeous with thoughtful touches and just the right amount of decor. It was spotless and we felt right at home. It’s also a short walk to the beach and to town. I would recommend this gem of a place and will be back!

I was impressed with Joseph's easy and fast communication. We liked the spaciousness of the house and well stocked kitchen. We definitely will stay there again when we are in the area.

We stayed in the downstairs 2 bedroom unit A. The property is located not too far North from downtown taking approx 20-30 min to walk to the historical district. There is a small convenience store a block away and a very popular bagel / coffee shop right next door. Holey Bagels. This old home has been renovated with pretty colors, the kitchen and bathroom seemed new as well as the decor. As with any old home it has its quirks but it’s part of the Charleston Charm. The amenities provided are really nice, popcorn, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods to name the basics but the attention to details like, q tips, cotton pads & ear plugs are what sets an airbnb apart and the details are all there at Rutledge Retreat. It is important to note that one of the bedrooms is on the street and can be quite noisy even at night, with the traffic stopping at the red light and the fire trucks going by, the provided earplugs came in handy.

This is the true meaning of hidden gem, very private in a beautiful setting, both inside & outside the home. Highly recommend! The other gem we found close by was the Hampton Plantation State Historic Site. I've been to many plantations, and this one was extraordinary. Small fee to get in, due to State run, with HUGE impact on what life was like in the 1800's. The house is 10,000 sq ft (3 stories) and when repaired, the walls were left uncovered to see how it was built by slaves. The house inspired the actors & directors of the movie "Gone With The Wind", and the live oak in front of the house was saved by George Washington. So much history!

Suzy’s place was just as described. The place was well stocked, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if working in the area.

Great host! We spend the night before and after our wedding here and even had our first look under the stunning oak tree they have! It was perfect. William was super responsive and so kind. He even let us tour the area before we booked. I highly recommend!!

This place lived up to its name "The Sanctuary." So beautiful and peaceful. Very well decorated. Dustin was so welcoming and responsive. We want to come back!

our stay was amazing! Beautiful vintage feel to the cabin, super easy to find, had everything we needed & more for the stay! Joe even hand delivered paper towels to us & we had free usage of the canoe/dock which was awesome! we would love to stay here again :-)

A peaceful oasis in a convenient location. The cabin was full of character with all the modern touches. The property itself is akin to a nature preserve as we saw juvenile gators, turtles(and their eggs), osprey, blue heron, and so much more. Almost all of this was seen from either the deck or beautiful screened in porch. My family with young kids loved the farm tour where we met longhorn cattle and held baby chicks. Marie and Sean are amazing hosts and we would not hesitate to return in the future.
