From the Duomo (the main cathedral) it is a 15-minute walk to the Castle, Castello Sforzesco. Behind the castle is the beautiful Park Sempione – if the weather is nice, take a 15-minute walk through it, to Arco della Pace - our Arc de Triomphe).

Le Guide ai Quartieri

Walking from Duomo you can go through Via Torino directly to Porta Ticinese and then through Corso di Porta Ticinese to our canals, Navigli (especially Ripa di Porta Ticinese, where all the bars are). The best time to be there is Happy Hour, our aperitivo, for which Milan is famous.

One of the prettiest areas is Brera, the art district: go into the courtyard of the Pinacoteca di Brera and look around (if you like, you can also visit the museum - one of the most famous museums of Renaissance and Baroque - as a reward, get a coffee in the new beautiful Bar Fernanda) and from there walk through Via Brera to Piazza San Carmine (next to it is Princi, known for great snacks).

Do not miss out Via Crema's food market!

Fridays, from 8am until 2pm, our neighborhood hosts a great fresh produce market. It offers great colors and beautiful flowers and plants, as well as delicious snacks and the best seasonal fruits and vegetables. However, if you have a car parked in the street, it will most likely be stuck. Therefore, we kindly ask you to leave it in the courtyard between 6 am and 5 pm or – if you need it on Fridays – to park it a block away or in the private garage in Viale Sabotino 25.
