With art school and gallery Pinacoteca di Brera at its centre, the former bohemian neighbourhood is full of charming streets with luxury boutiques, upscale antiques stores and sleek galleries. Many perfume stores are in Via Brera. Sundays are reserved for the weekly antiques market.

Cobblestoned narrow streets with many restaurants and little shops is definitely worth exploring, but expect to walk everywhere. The Sunday street market with stalls selling collectables and costume jewellery was also fun to explore. The district really comes alive in the evenings
