Emmanouel und Irene sind sehr zuverlässige und freundliche Gastgeber. Wir sind sehr spät am Abend angekommen, Irene hat auf uns gewartet und uns sogar uns zum einzigen offenen Restaurant begleitet. Im Kühlschrank war etwas Kleines für den mitternachtlichen Hunger der Kinder da, was uns sehr entgegen gekommen ist. Vielen Dank für die tolle Wohnung! Es war alles super - die Wohnung, die Gegend, die Tavernen, die Nähe an Heraklion. Ein Supererlebnis für uns und die zwei Kinder.

Logement Airbnb premium : vous y bénéficiez à la fois d'un logement impeccable, très bien équipé et magnifiquement décoré et d'un formidable accueil personnalisé par Nadine. Ses conseils sont excellents pour découvrir la culture locale, c'est très facile de communiquer et elle a un vrai sens de l'hospitalité. La maison très bien rénovée est située dans une zone agricole, l'extérieur complètement clos est joliment végétalisé et très bien aménagé de façon à pouvoir en profiter à tous les moments de la journée. Beaucoup de points d'intérêts à moins de 20 min de route. Très très recommandé !

Very private, no noise from neighbors. We hardly heard any noise from the traffic as the apartment is not directly on the road. We stayed for a week and spent much time on the incredible balcony: you can always find a space in the shade there. We loved the Galini beach nearby. only downside is that you have to walk for 200 meters along the road, as there is no footpath. There is a private beach closer by, but not everyone will be willing to climb down. It's doable for most people, but it is no walk in the park. If you like solitude, or if the Galini beach is too crowded, then certainly try to go the private beach. The WiFi in the apartment and on the balcony is good enough to stream video to one laptop. We had a tremendous time and certainly will come back some time in the future

Wow! Emmett's place is just stunning. The pictures definitely don't do it justice. If you are looking for a quiet retreat with absolutely stunning scenery to help you unwind, this is the perfect spot. It is designed so beautifully, with open spaces, blending with the surroundings (rather than being an eye sore like some of the other places we saw). We couldn't get enough of the view of the sea and the mountains from the living space - it felt like an amazing painting. Swimming in the pool with that scenery was an absolute dream. We are a couple with a 4-month baby, and the main house was perfect for us. Emmett was very hospitable, making sure we had everything we need, and very responsive when we had issues or were looking for suggestions for places. The area is great - an easy walk to the village of Sivas, with plenty of options for restaurants. Several lovely beach options as well, just 10 - 15 minutes away. Our only regret is not having stayed longer!

We hebben heerlijk gevonden van ons verblijf. Alles voldeed aan de beschrijving, en alles was kraaknet. De jacuzzi is in de lente zeker ook een meerwaarde om de frisse avonden door te komen. Het verblijf ligt dichtbij Matala, leuke dorpen en mooie stranden. Zeker de moeite!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Manoli’s! The house was stunning, nestled in a beautiful village that made our two-night stay even more special. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was excellent, maintaining great communication. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which was superb and added to the overall experience. We truly had a great time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Nous avons été reçu par popi le soir de notre arrivée tardive, en langue française elle nous a expliqué le fonctionnement du logement. Nous avons trouvé ce dernier très propre, charmant, bien équipé, spacieux dans un environnement calme. Notre hôte très sympathique avait laissé à notre attention des douceurs et des boissons. L'endroit est très bien situé pour visiter agios nikolaos et même aller à pied sur deux petites plages. Grâce à popi et son logement nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Je recommande vivement ce logement pour toutes ces raisons.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt für uns. Wer die Ruhe und Einsamkeit liebt, sollte sich dieses Erlebnis nicht entgehen lassen. Rena hat Fragen immer sehr gut und zügig beantwortet. Wir haben uns sehr über Ihre Aufmerksamkeiten gefreut. Es ist eine liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung, in der wir uns richtig wohl gefühlt haben. Der Balkon ist geräumig, ja man teilt ihn sich mit der Nachbarwohnung - ist aber trotzdem privat. Wir haben unsere Nachbarn kaum gesehen. Es ist ein wirkliches nettes, beschauliches Dörfchen mit sehr netten, freundlichen Einwohnern. Die Tavernen am Strand hatten sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Gastgeber. Wie aus anderen Bewertungen bekannt, muss man Serpentinen mögen und sollte Wanderschuhe einpacken. Meine sind leider am zweiten Tag kaputt gegangen, sonst hätten wir mehrere Touren in die Höhe unternommen. Das Laufen von Bucht zu Bucht (traumhafte Strände) ging mit Turnschuhen recht gut, wenn man selber trittsicher ist. Wir kommen wieder mal her.

Logement conforme et encore mieux en vrai. Rien à redire tout était parfait et à la hauteur. Beaucoup de petits restaurants ce qui est un plus après une longue journée. Yannis est un hôte réactif et pleins de petites attentions :) Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Situé au 4e étage d'un édifice et localisé tout près du centre d'Agios Nikolaos, ce logement est spacieux, très propre et offre toutes les commodités nécessaires pour de brefs et longs séjours. L'hôte, Irini est très gentille, accueillante et est une excellente source d'information. L'appartement offre une vue imprenable sur la baie et le port d'Agios Nikolaos. Malgré la rareté des places de stationnement, nous sommes toujours arrivés à trouver un emplacement à proximité. De nombreux restaurants près du logement et tellement de belles découvertes à faire dans la région. Nous recommandons ce logement pour toutes ces raisons.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dieser gemütlichen Wohnung. Die weite Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderbar und ein Strand ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt mehrere Strände in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist sehr komfortabel und geräumig.

Amazing central location literally 1 minutes walk to the main street. But also super quiet and private. I was travelling on my own before heading to a conference and it was perfect. Would have been equally as happy if I was travelling with my partner on a weekend break.

We stayed here for 8 days with our son and his wife and our granddaughter. It was absolutely perfect for us, we spent several days in Heraklion and then toured the neighbouring regions of the island in our rented car. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a large and well-stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook some meals together. We were especially grateful for Eirini's offers of assistance and suggestions for activities such as the Oxi day celebrations on October 28. We would have missed it if she hadn't alerted us to the parade. All in all a perfect holiday, would gladly stay there again.

C'est une magnifique maison, décorée avec beaucoup goût et très bien équipée, même dans les petits détails (linge de lit et de maison fournis, shampoing et savon dans toutes les salles de bain, les produits nécessaire dans la cuisine, et même l'épicerie de base : sucre, café, sel, poivre, huile d'olive bien sur, toutes les petites choses qu'on utilise au quotidien mais que du coup on aura pas besoin d'acheter). La maison est située dans un village paisible, sur une colline donnant sur les oliviers et les vignes, avec les montagnes en arrière plan. C'est un endroit très reposant. A proximité on peut trouver un boulanger, une épicerie, un boucher, tout ce qu'il faut pour faire les courses sans aller jusqu’à Heraklion. Georgios est un hôte prévenant et très réactif, ayant toujours à cœur de faire en sorte que le séjour se passe au mieux. 5 étoiles amplement méritées, à recommander absolument si vous passez par la Crète.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine ! Les hôtes, M. et Mme Vaggelis ont été adorables et plein de délicates attentions. Ils étaient réactifs et toujours disponibles et à l'écoute, s'assurant que nous ne manquions de rien. Tina, qui nous a accueillis le premier jour était également très à l'écoute et hyper bienveillant à notre égard ! Quant à la villa, elle était parfaite en tout point de vue ! Les photos de l'annonce correspondent à la réalité ! Je dirais même que c'était au delà de ce qui était indiqué ! La propreté impeccable, les services proposés, la décoration et le design de la maison, sans oublier cette vue incroyable sur la mer et sur l'île de Spinalonga. Je recommande ces hôtes et cette villa ! Allez-y les yeux fermés ! vous ne serez pas déçus ! Merci encore 😊

Wir hatten drei wunderschöne Tage in Maria Haus. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig , abseits des Dorfes in einem sehr schönen Olivenhain. Wer die Ruhe liebt, ist hier absolut richtig. Man braucht aber unbedingt ein Auto um das Haus zu erreichen. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet und alles ist sehr sauber geputzt. Alles im Haus ist sehr gepflegt und um das Haus ist alles liebevoll mit Blumen angepflanzt. Abends ist der Sternenhimmel unbeschreiblich schön zu sehen.. Im kleinen Ort Paleokastro , circa 1,5 km entfernt , findet man einen kleinen Supermarkt als auch Apotheke und kleine Restaurants sind vorhanden . ( Allerdings waren wir in der Vorsaison da, in der Hauptsaison ist sicher mehr Leben im Ort.) Man kann von Marias Haus in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto sehr schöne Strände und Buchten erreichen . Es lohnt sich sehr, diese schöne abgelegene Gegend Kretas zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt.

Es gab ein Problem bei der Buchung, aber Maryianna hat uns ganz unkompliziert eine Umbuchung in eine andere Unterkunft angeboten (Villa Dafni), daher bezieht sich die Bewertung auf die Villa Dafni. Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kindern und haben uns während dem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt! Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto um zu den Stränden, Tavernen oder anderen Orten zu kommen, aber innerhalb von 5-15 Minuten ist alles gut erreichbar und man kann die Zeit auch gut mit Plantschen im Pool verbringen 😊 Die Kommunikation war immer super schnell und hilfreich!

We had a wonderful stay here. Very peaceful. Often all you will hear are the bells clanging from the local goats. Delicious food at the onsite taverna. Beautiful lodge, with special touches such as a bottle of wine waiting for us to congratulate us on our wedding. Of note, this villa is very high up in the mountains. If you're flying into heraklian airport that evening, it's a long and dark drive up some very narrow and winding roads, so you may want to make the drive in the daytime. It's about an hour drive up/down the mountain to any other town so be prepared to drive. But the scenery is beautiful...majestic mountains.

The Twin House was a fantastic experience. From the moment the our host Georgie met us at the ferry, we knew this was different. He drove us to get our rental car then we folllowed him to the house. There he showed us around and explained the features of his beautiful house. He even had us follow him to a restaurant in he next town , that he knew would still be open. Georgie was the epitome of the perfect host. The house was wonderful. Three great bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths , the xtra toilet and sink made mornings so much easier! Great parking and a lighted pristine pool. If we ever return to Crete we know just where to stay. Thank you Georgie.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this charming summer cottage. Nestled within a serene olive garden, the setting is pure magic—peaceful, green, and filled with the gentle rustle of olive trees in the breeze. The view over the Aegean Sea is simply breathtaking. One of the highlights of our stay was the direct access to a stunning sandy beach, just a 30-second stroll from the house. It felt like our own private escape—crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and complete tranquility. Our little children, aged 3 and 5, absolutely loved it too. The garden and beach were perfect for them to explore safely, and they had the time of their lives playing, splashing, and discovering nature all around. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully maintained, and has all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. Whether you're lounging on the terrace with a book, enjoying a meal outdoors surrounded by nature, or taking a refreshing dip in the sea, every moment here is a joy! Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in Thomais´resort. Thomais did everything to make us feel welcome and welcomed us with homemade cooking and wine. Located on the mountain top the distance to shopping and restaurants is several kilometers, but excellent taxi service solved this so we dropped our plans to rent a car.
