We enjoyed our stay with Tomomi. Unfortunately we did not get to paddleboard (they usually do it more in spring and summer months) which I was not aware of beforehand. But we did get to enjoy a family style meal home cooked by Tomomi which was great. She was very welcoming and we would love to come back for paddle boarding. We would also love to check out Tomomi’s restaurant at which she’s a chef!

首先说一下房间的情况，我住的这间有两个窗户，通透明亮，床也很软睡得很舒服。从窗户可以看到山城的美景，而且出门就有公交站台。 房东夫妇非常的友善亲切，刚到家的时候会准备茶水和甜品，会耐心的为我讲解周边的景点和路线，这让我感到非常温暖。我觉得这是旅行最重要的意义之一，那就是去见更多善良有爱的人，然后把这份爱传递下去。我很感动，能遇到他们也很幸运。❤️ 家附近有一个好吃的寿司店，我在那的每一天都会去吃一顿。实惠又美味😋 长崎也是一个有魅力的城市，我在这里心情很放松，得到了治愈。 下次去长崎的时候我还是会选择住在这里，期待那一天早点到来！

We had a lovely stay with Hiromi and Stan. Extremely welcoming and friendly. Beautiful, authentic japanese homestay. We even had a traditional tea ceremony and learned lots about Japanese culture. On top of the already great experience, a traditional Japanese breakfast was also offered which we enjoyed a lot. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kumamoto.

Stefano’s property in Takamori exceeded all expectations. The place was spotless, and honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. The home perfectly blends modern comforts with traditional charm, and the welcoming mix of Italian bread and wood scents made it feel like home. Stefano’s thoughtful touch of providing fresh bread every day for breakfast was a lovely bonus. This place is truly a hidden gem!

We have had a wonderful time here. Keiko is indeed a great host who provided us with everything. She is an extremely thoughtful person and given to every details. Like other review, we can definitely stay longer as its so peaceful here. If you need some challenges, you can scale Mount Fukuchi.

四ヶ月ぶりに再訪しました。 オーナーさんからおかえりなさいと言われて嬉しい気持ちになりました。 自分の家のように使ってくださいと、二泊本当に寛いでしまいました。オーナーさん手作りの朝食も美味しいですよ！鹿児島の焼き芋付きです🍠 帰ってきたばかりなのにまた次お邪魔する日をいつにしようか考えている自分がいます。 お世話になりました！

二週間滞在し、天草市を満喫しました。ここを拠点に車で３０分前後で天草全域にアクセス可能。生活に必要なものは家電、調理器具、調味料までほぼ揃っており、釣ってきた魚や地場の食材で料理を楽しみました。車で１分の港ではいろいろな魚が釣れ、釣り好きと料理好きには絶好の宿です。加えてオーナーの人柄が温かく、また会いに行きたくなる素敵な宿です。車で７分くらいのスーパーゼロには、おいしい刺身がそろってます。その隣の温泉もおすすめ。漁協のヒオウギ貝やアジのみりん干しもおいしかったなぁ。

편안하고 좋은 공간이였습니다. 주변이 편의시설도 많이 있어서 지내기 불편함이 없었습니다.

Great place to stay in a quiet neighborhood while still being well connected to the rest of the city via buses and the airport line. Short walk to Ohori Park and the beachside as well.

Kazu welcomes us so well. He assisted us and provided all our needs. He even took us for free in the Zoo and is responsive to every questions we may ask.He knows some Tagalog words too. Fukuoka is a great place to stay and we will surely come back soon.

오직 레스토랑의 식사가 너무 기대되어 이틀 밤을 묵게 되었습니다. 숙소는 정말 깨끗하고 아늑했으며, 35년 넘는 시간 동안 이 공간을 정성껏 가꿔오신 사장님께 깊은 감사의 마음이 들었습니다. 유후인 역에서도 도보로 가까워 찾아가기 편했고, 무엇보다 좋은 분위기 속에서 흐르는 편안한 음악과 함께 정성스럽게 제공된 식사는 정말 최고였습니다. 신선한 샐러드와 깊은 맛의 파스타, 향긋한 커피와 정성 가득한 디저트까지 어느 하나 빠짐없이 훌륭했습니다. 식사 후 사장님과 이런저런 이야기를 나누는 시간도 무척 따뜻했고, ‘Minaminokaze’라는 이름에 담긴 뜻을 들으며 감동을 받았습니다. 꼭 다른 계절에도 다시 방문하고 싶습니다. 따뜻한 환대와 친절에 다시 한 번 감사드립니다.

I would recommend staying at this place. Overall it was good value, the bed was comfortable and amenities were fine. The owner was slow to respond to my messages and there was some confusion before check-in where he made me panic by suggesting I would not be able to stay there that evening. I would not recommend arriving 'late' (8pm) as they didn't like that. The main positive of the stay was the friendliness of the owners and staff once I was there. The breakfast each morning was delicious and very filling. The location of the hotel was also very good for exploring the city. Overall I would recommend this place but the communication could be improved.

Yumi est vraiment une super hôte. Elle a pris soin de venir me chercher à ma gare car je n'ai pas de voiture. Elle m'a donné beaucoup d'indications et m'a aidé à prendre le bus quand je suis parti. Nous avons pu discuter de beaucoup de choses, en anglais et en japonais. La maison se situe au plus près de la nature, et permet de se reposer. L'environnement est magnifique. Génial !

Akio and Bill are the most caring, friendly, and attentive hosts I’ve met. They made me feel right at home. It feels as if I were visiting dear friends. Their home is gorgeous and one of the best designed homes you’ll experience. The apartment is very private and has everything you may need. The bed is very comfortable. The shower and the kitchen the cutest. Now to breakfast.. you can feel it was made with care. Everything is delicious from fruits, to bread, to bacon and tomatoes (those tomatoes 🤤). Bill even remembered how I like my coffee. 🥺 Minamiaso is such a beautiful area to explore, with farm lands, view of surrounding mountains, and tasty restaurants. It’s a great base to see the Mount Aso area. I spent some of my favorite days in Japan here, thanks to Bill and Akio. Like the others have said, staying with them is an experience in itself. If it’s available, don’t hesitate to book. It’s worth more than it costs and will leave you with unforgettable, fond memories.

We had a wonderful time at Katsushi and Tatako's farmstay and cannot speak too highly of our experience. The house is separate from the owners' home, so is very private, and surrounded by fields and scattered houses. Everything was spotless and we lacked for nothing, given that we were not self-catering. But it was our hosts' friendliness, their recommendations for local attractions, and above all, the food we were served, that were extra special. Breakfast is included, and featured plenty of home-grown veges, and other local produce. Since we didn't want to venture out at night, we also requested dinner on both nights of our stay (for a modest additional cost), and those meals were also truly wonderful. Japanese home cooking at its best. We were also invited to attend a Kagura dance at a local shrine, and were taken one evening to a local community hall to learn about preparations for another festival. All in all a wonderful and memorable experience.
