It is close to schools and universities and is in a safe, relaxed, local area with many families with children and students. It has two bedrooms, a shower , and a full kitchen. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Kyoto City accommodation tax is required per person per night.

The name Shinsen comes from one of the oldest famous courtyard in Kyoto during Heian Period, "Shinsenen", which is located near our house. Guests enter through a stone corridor into a high-ceilinged hall showing classic Japanese style. The 2nd-floor suite features a tatami tea-bedroom, hinoki bathtub, and floor heating. Located near Kyoto Station and Nishi Hongan-ji, with easy access to Kiyomizu-dera, Arashiyama, and Shijo.
