Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.

Aloha and Welcome as we gather around the information table at Sharkey's 100-year old farmhouse in the historic plantation village of Papaikou. Sample our freshly brewed 100% Hawaiian coffee or cacao tea, grown right here on the farm. From there we begin an easy walk through our orchards where you'll learn about Hawaiian coffee growth and production. Interwoven the coffee are rows of cacao trees. Depending on the time of year, you can usually see tiny flowers and large, multi-colored pods hanging from trunks and branches. Long, heavy vanilla vines grow up the cacao trees, nature's perfect trellis! We'll show you how each vanilla orchid is delicately hand-pollinated to produce long "hands" of vanilla beans. We'll then proceed to the "Slab" where the pods are 'cracked' before the fermentation process. Next we move into the greenhouse where flats of newly planted seedlings just beginning their journey grow alongside large screens filled with coffee and cacao beans slowly drying to perfection. Craters have high cliffs and children must be monitored at all times.

We are excited to teach you you how to create your own unique lei po'o (flower crown). You will choose your own tropical flowers and create a unique and beautiful custom piece made with fresh flowers. All of our flowers are locally sourced from local gardens and we support local farmers. We also provide high quality local store bought flowers such as torch ginger, cymbidium orchids, anthuriums, etc. Our workshop is high end because we use high end flowers and natural materials sourced from Polynesia (Lauhala leaves from Tahiti). Your leis will last 3-4 days and will enrich your Hawaii experience tenfold. While making your lei, I will share the cultural meanings of our leis and why we wear them in Hawai'i. I am born and raised in Laie, Hawaii and have lived here for 27 years. I am passionate about my culture and I would love to share it with you. A day adventuring in beautiful Iao Valley. I will guide you into the historic Valley, exploring the beautiful lush forest and the clear Iao stream. We will hike past the guided paths and go safely wandering up the stream bed. Touching the local flora and fauna we will experience what it’s like to be deep in the valley with its steep cliffs and photographic vistas. Finding our way upstream we will end at a place where we can swim and enjoy the currents of the stream. Enjoy a snack and rest in the sounds of nature. This three hour tour will be one to remember with beautiful photos of Maui’s spectacular nature and you. Time of day is flexible. Please inquire if you would like a different time. We will reach you difference between Hawaiian Food and Hawaiian Style foods. This private & personal tour ( no more than 4 people) will begin at a local grocery store to sample some of the best poke and spam Musubi in the world. Whenever we travel we always look for the local grocery stores because that's where you will find the best foods and the locals. Then we head to Kalihi for a Manapua tasting and taro chip factory. We then sit for a authentic Hawaiian food lunch and learn the history and how it's made. For the finale we head to a popular bakery and learn how Portugal influenced Hawaii with bread and other great pastries. Tour NOT suited for vegans or vegetarians

During the Kauai Nectar adventure... We will spend about an hour exploring the hives, our tasks being dictated by whatever the hives need each day. Including: Collecting Pollen Shifting boxes Examining hives & their occupants You will have the opportunity to learn about the biology, life cycles, and societal structures of the beehives. We will finish the morning with local raw honey and pollen tasting. You'll leave with your very own jar of honey from one of Kauai Nectar’s apiaries. We do have an age limit for this tour, if your child does not meet the requirement, please request a private tour! We are happy to invite younger children to visit the bees, the limit is only to accommodate other guests during a group tour. Snorkeling in a whole new way that makes it easier and more fun. Come jet scooter snorkel through the crystal clear waters of Hawaii on this adventure snorkeling tour. Anyone can do this tour as it is for beginners also. I will take you to one of the best snorkeling sites on Oahu to see sea turtles, tons of fish, sea life and dolphins. We will be using our jet propelled underwater scooter devices to create a fun and unique snorkeling experience, unlike any other! This tour will begin with a complimentary pickup from Waikiki at 2412 Koa ave, and a scenic drive to our snorkeling site approx. 30 mins depending which dive site we will be heading too. Dive site choice is dependent on conditions.If you are staying outside of Waikiki, please look at Kahe Point Beach Park on maps, it may be closer for you to meet us there. Please let me know if you choose to do that. Once we arrive, we will go through a safety briefing and jet snorkeling orientation to get you started on this fun filled tour. We accept all skill levels including first timers! Once in the water, we will practice using the Jet devices and begin our snorkeling tour. Majority of the time we will see sea turtles, beautiful corals and lots of beautiful fish. We see dolphins on almost every trip but every once in a while we don't see them so we can not guarantee you will see a dolphin but there is a high probability.

Upon your arrival to Oahu, you'll begin to see how surfing is Hawaiian culture. As you get into Waikiki, everywhere you look you will see surfboards...... It is now time to embrace your surroundings and let us show you the Hawaiian way. We will begin by introducing the details of the surfboard. Then discuss the fundamentals including positioning on board, etiquette, paddling, how & when to stand up, & what to do once you are on the wave. We will discuss ocean safety, awareness and safety. Once the land training is done, we will walk right across the street and enter the water, don't worry about carrying any surfboards, we have a cart for that. Once we are in the water we will guide you to the best spot to position yourself to catch waves. We will be by your side and provide the extra push to get on the wave. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or intermediate surfer, we can help all levels advance your skills on a surfboard and teach you about the area you are surfing in. After the lesson we will go back to the shop, have the barista whip us up a drink from our coffee bar, relax, and chat. In this tour we will hike to one of the best viewing locations of the volcano summit, a lookout to where Madam Pele resides! The hike is less than an hour roundtrip and mostly flat terrain. You will meet with me the island pilot/guide. We will go over the equipment and safety guidelines and immediately jump right into the action and learn to fly hands on. Our location will be a great place to get pictures and video of ocean wildlife, turtles, manta rays, fish, coral reef. AGES 16+ Not only will you learn to fly but you will be able to keep the footage and pictures from the day's experience. You can bring your own drone and I encourage it if you own one. However bringing your own drone is NOT required. I have all equipment needed to learn how to fly. I can provide the DJI Mavic Air for guests to try. Other things to note All you need to do is show up and be ready to film. Please bring a micro SD card capable of recording 4k video. We will guide you step by step and help you fly if needed. Anyone can do it! MUST be 16+

Our farm tours start at 9:00am or 12:30pm. Please park in the parking lot, feel free to spend some time in the adjacent small animal zoo then check in at the Guest Center. Your tour will start on the lanai where you’ll meet proprietor, Ron Minter, who will set up your day. You will sample local produce and chocolate, available in our store and can be ordered on our website. Pali Nana Farms Grand Tour includes a 90-minute in-depth walking tour of the farm, including viewing 6 varieties of Dragon fruit, abiu, lychee, figs, and coffee. As part of this tour, our guests also have an opportunity to plant cacao keiki (seedlings) and enjoy viewing various animals at our farm. After returning from the farm tour, there will be a chocolate making/tasting demonstration. On the lanai the guests will be shown all the steps in making chocolate from bean to bar. The last 45-minutes of the 9:00 am tour (or the first 45-minutes of the 1:00 pm tour) are reserved for a made-to-order wood fired pizza lunch. Non-alcoholic beverages are also provided.

You can see panorama view from diamond head to honolulu’s newer skyscraper neighborhood called “Kakaako” We will walk across the park and stop by multiple hidden spots for amazing photos. Of course I will help you capture the moment with your personal camera or phone. The hawaii sunset is the most romantic sunset in the world. I can capture that sunset with you and your family or friends! Let’s start make fun memories and keep those memories forever. 1. This is a sunset photo session for a total of one (1) hour, but it depends on weather conditions. It can be longer or shorter. 2. I’ll take natural photos. 3. I will give you around 300+ photos that have been color corrected. If you are a family, it will be slightly more. 4. I will give you high resolution files, suitable for high quality prints.

I include a 1:00 minute edited video along with pictures. We will walk to the sand and set up our shots. The drone clips look amazing on the beach. The aerial view provides such a unique view of the subject and surrounding area. We will record video as well as taking pictures. The drone will record 4K video and 1080 slow motion. Each shoot will last approximately an hour. After getting our first shots we will move around the beach getting multiple angles and vantage points, the drone allows for endless creativity. Perfect for Couples, Individuals or Families and Big Groups! Other things to note You will need to bring whatever clothing you want to feature in your photos. We can change and take a break. Normally filming takes a couple batteries and lasts about an hour. Bring your aloha spirit and we will have a blast.
