La experiencia ORIGINAL de la cascada de Airbnb en Costa Rica. Si buscas experimentar la verdadera cultura, la naturaleza y la belleza de Costa Rica, esta es la experiencia que buscas. Te llevaremos a Las Monas (los monos) Rainforest a unos 5 minutos de Jaco. Es una caminata de 25 minutos hasta la selva aprenderás sobre la vegetación natural utilizada para la medicina por los nativos de Las Monas. La experiencia dura entre 2,5 y 3,5 horas, dependiendo de cuánto tiempo te gustaría estar en cada cascada y nadar en las piscinas naturales. No tienes que nadar si no quieres. Una vez que lleguemos a las cascadas, podrás nadar en las 10 piscinas naturales o saltar desde la cima de las cascadas. En nuestro camino de regreso tendrás el placer de degustar la cocina local en La Casita del Sabor, cocinada por la abuela de la ciudad de Las Monas. Es el recorrido perfecto si quieres estar con la naturaleza y la cultura local. *IMPORTANTE* La caminata comienza fácilmente y se vuelve más difícil a medida que la caminata continúa, por lo que no es adecuada para nadie con una discapacidad o algo que pueda ponerte en desventaja. Desde el comienzo del río hasta la primera cascada hay ~1 km (15-20 minutos) y luego verás nuevas cascadas cada 50-100 metros. Aproximadamente a unos7 km de ida y vuelta en total. Cosas a tener en cuenta: si tienes niños menores de 7 años, pregúntanos, ya que normalmente no es un problema, pero necesitamos establecer una directriz estándar de 7.

Join me on a guided, yet off the beaten path, tour of the local rainforest and waterfalls. We will hike through creeks and up mountains to reach multiple waterfalls - each one unique. In the first part of the hike, we will walk on flat land through creeks, and I will show you local flaura and fauna as we go. The second part of the hike takes us more uphill, to see the waterfalls, where you can swim in clear blue fresh water. If you want, you can also jump from rocks into the waterfall. I will make sure you feel safe and show you how to climb the rocks and jump if you’d like. We will also cross some bridges over the waterfalls, which give you a beautiful view of the waterfalls and trees from high up. On the third part of the hike, we reach the highest waterfalls. You can choose to scale the mountains using ropes to pull you up, or you can walk on the path which is easier (but still beautiful). You will be surrounded by trees, plants, wildlife (shrimp, lobsters, frogs, butterflies, etc), and of course beautiful waterfalls with pools at the bottom that you can swim in. I will bring fresh coconuts for hidration. I will also bring local fruits for you to try. I will share with you my knowledge of the area - from the history to the wildlife.

We use a professional equipment , such as spotted telescope and binocular to facilitate the observation of fauna and flora. There are many interesting hidden animmals and plants in the forest and the only way to spotted them is with the experienced guide.

This kayak experience is not to be missed. What appears to be normal dark water, will light up WHEN YOU TOUCH IT. As the night grows dark, we'll step into our comfortable kayaks and get ready for a personal encounter with this remarkable phenomenon. We will lead you to the best spots, where sparkling algae accumulates. For a full hour, you will be enchanted by how every stroke of your paddle leaves behind a swirl of light, and fish light up their path like shooting stars in the water. The more YOU splash the water the more bioluminescent light you will experience. You are in command, the algae will NOT glow on its own, you have to ACTIVATE it with YOUR hands or the paddle. Come a bit early to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay and a nice cup of Costa Rican coffee, juice, and some snacks. You'll get a briefing, a suitable life jacket, before we go to the launch area for the kayaks. It will be like going on a cozy family tour, as the maximum group size is 10 people. We will meet in Montezuma's charming "downtown" for a bike fitting and safety check. We provide the mountain bikes, helmets, and snacks. We'll briefly chat about your past riding experience and abilities, and then gently roll out together on our most popular signature route, called "Easy Cruiser". Guests are required to have some cycling experience, but basic techniques (braking, etc) can be reviewed. This coastal route is a super scenic, relatively flat two-hour spin (200 feet of elevation change), and can be done at a very relaxed pace if you like. We will occasionally stop at select "off the tourist track" points of interest, and possibly take a quick plunge in the crystal blue "Rio Lajas". Also, we may be able ride to Cabuya Island on an amazing land bridge (tide dependent). As we circle back to Montezuma, there will be an opportunity to take an optional refreshing dip in a beautiful, hidden waterfall. Other things to note. We recommend drinking extra water prior to the ride so you are well hydrated. Also, please let us know if you have any relevant health issues. If you have your own bicycling shoes with cleats, please specify which type and we may have the pedals to match. We will bring tools for bike fitting.

We will practice Yoga, energy and aromatherapy for one hour on the beach and then we will take a van to the Rainforest Tram, a short 12 minutes away, where we will continue our practices while immersed deeply in nature. Everyone is aware of the common 5 senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. But there are actually several others. This class will explore the top seven senses, including intuition and Proprioception. We will begin our class at the beach on Yoga mats. Please come in comfortable clothes to begin our 7 senses training of body, mind, spirit, health, wealth and happiness. Yoga, combined with meditation techniques, breathing techniques, energy exercises and aromatherapy to develop greater focus and conscious thought, will be practiced. At the end of the tram ride, we will have a short 30-45 minute break, where everyone can walk through the butterfly habitat, the medicinal plants, have snacks or eat at the restaurant before the van picks us up to return to Jaco Beach, our starting point. My hope is that you learn the power of your own body movements combined with a few exercises of focus and nature to completely change your future.

This kayak experience is not to be missed. What appears to be normal dark water, will light up WHEN YOU TOUCH IT. As the night grows dark, we'll step into our comfortable kayaks and get ready for a personal encounter with this remarkable phenomenon. We will lead you to the best spots, where sparkling algae accumulates. For a full hour, you will be enchanted by how every stroke of your paddle leaves behind a swirl of light, and fish light up their path like shooting stars in the water. The more YOU splash the water the more bioluminescent light you will experience. You are in command, the algae will NOT glow on its own, you have to ACTIVATE it with YOUR hands or the paddle. Come a bit early to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the bay and a nice cup of Costa Rican coffee, juice, and some snacks. You'll get a briefing, a suitable life jacket, before we go to the launch area for the kayaks. It will be like going on a cozy family tour, as the maximum group size is 10 people. We'll stop along the way, and explain more about the magical glowing water and marine life in the bay. When we return fresh water is available, as well as bathroom facilities, if needed. Other things to note The tour is fine for beginner-level kayakers. Weight limit 250 pounds / 115 kilograms. Please do not consume alcohol before the kayak trip. Join me on a guided, yet off the beaten path, tour of the local rainforest and waterfalls. We will hike through creeks and up mountains to reach multiple waterfalls - each one unique. In the first part of the hike, we will walk on flat land through creeks, and I will show you local flaura and fauna as we go. The second part of the hike takes us more uphill, to see the waterfalls, where you can swim in clear blue fresh water. If you want, you can also jump from rocks into the waterfall. I will make sure you feel safe and show you how to climb the rocks and jump if you’d like. We will also cross some bridges over the waterfalls, which give you a beautiful view of the waterfalls and trees from high up. On the third part of the hike, we reach the highest waterfalls. You can choose to scale the mountains using ropes to pull you up, or you can walk on the path which is easier (but still beautiful). You will be surrounded by trees, plants, wildlife (shrimp, lobsters, frogs, butterflies, etc), and of course beautiful waterfalls with pools at the bottom that you can swim in. I will bring fresh coconuts for hidration. I will also bring local fruits for you to try. I will share with you my knowledge of the area - from the history to the wildlife.
