Awesome cabin in a beautiful location. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting New River Gorge National park or the nearby area. The interior of the cabin was clean and very comfortable. Rocking chairs on the porch, hot tub, and fire pit outside were 10/10

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

Perfect place for my family (2 adults and 4 kids 12 and under) to use as a home base for our visit to New River Gorge. Definitely had plenty of room to spare for additional guests if necessary.

Was a quaint old home, peaceful with a beautiful view. We had family over for a birthday party and took advantage of the fire pit and grill. Joyce even helped us out when we were in need of a large cooking pot to do our seafood boil. Joyce was very friendly and available when needed.

We were delighted with the beautiful serene views. Most of all we were thrilled to be across the road from the holler my husband grew up in. He is a Davis and connected with all of his Davis family on the hill behind the church. ♥️ Perfect location for us! The house is well stocked and comfortable. Thank you!!

Everything about our entire experience here was amazing! From the time we found it online to the time we left, Dimitri was so kind, friendly and helpful. His communication was outstanding and answered every question we had. The house is just the cutest historic home and we felt right at home. Loved the acreage because we were able to play outside with our children every day and didn’t even have the need to go anywhere! We did take a day to visit the train station right down the road that Dimitri told us about. He let us know the locations of the nearest Walmart from the house so we drove there on our way to the house and got everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t need to go out again but there was also a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road if we needed any other supplies. I loved swinging on the front porch and exploring the property. The “neighborhood” was beautiful and we loved taking walks. It was just amazing and we would love to go back! I didn’t want to leave!!

Had the best time at this airbnb with my family! It felt like a home away from home and had everything we needed for our trip! Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I and our two boys stayed here for our spring break together. The host gave lots of good recommendations and was very responsive and friendly when I reached out with questions. We had everything we needed at the loft! The kitchen is nice and well stocked and the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. Good location very close to one of the park entrances. Very close to amazing bridge views, lots of beautiful hiking, and access to the gorgeous river!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

I stayed at Sarah’s place for just over 2 months for work - I absolutely loved the space! It’s super cozy and definitely doesn’t feel like you’re over someone’s garage. It felt like I had a homey space to come back to. Additionally, Sarah was incredibly friendly and has the sweetest dog! Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Charleston :)

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Unit was exactly as pictured/described. Comfy beds, plenty of hot water, well stocked kitchen with good quality pots, pans, etc. Great amenities and nice touches like stocked coffee, creamer and popcorn. Owners were very responsive and flexible. Thank you!

I would highly recommend. The house was clean and cozy. It also had everything I needed, including washer / drier and kitchen. Diana was super helpful and I appreciated all the snacks she left for when I arrived. 5/5 stars.

Carol was very responsive and the condo was exactly as advertised. We loved the 60 second walk to the hot tubs and being right in the heart of the village. Would stay here every time I come to Snowshoe.

We had a wonderful stay in Jane's AirB&B. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable.

This cabin was wonderful. It had everything you needed for the stay and the host was amazing, anytime we message for question she messaged back always within 5-10 minutes at the most usually shorter times. The cabin is located on a private drive surrounded by neighbors, but the ones we did see where friendly and always waved. There is also plenty to do around the cabin like hiking, fishing, and just about anything outdoors you wanna do. Most things are 30-45 minutes away depending on what your doing. Anyways long story short of you looking for a great place to stay with a great host come here and enjoy a cozy cabin and some nature.

The cabin was beautiful! The welcoming home was perfectly decorated and the scent of the new pine was so soothing. It was also the cleanest Airbnb I’ve encountered. Would highly recommend.

We came down to whitewater raft and zipline with Adventures on the Gorge. The cabin was so close to Adventures on the Gorge. It is nice and secluded, and has everything you need for your getaway! The hottub was great after a long day of adventuring. The host gave great local recommendations and even stopped by our first night to see if we needed anything. Our two boys (10 and 12) enjoyed the woods around the cabin. The personal touches were amazing- fresh flowers on the table, fresh baked cookies, and souvenir glasses to take home! I have stayed many places, but this one is a favorite for sure!

The cabin is very cozy and clean! Our pup loved the backyard!

We stayed in Cabin 3 for Bridge Day weekend. The cabin was neat and clean, freshly painted outside and very clean floors and bathroom. The fire pit area behind our cabin was very peaceful with beautiful mature woods surrounding. This place is very pet friendly and has many acres of woods with trails you can walk you fur baby, which we did many times! The general store at the entrance has a nice selection of household goods, food, and firewood. It was cool at night, about 40 degrees, and the cabin space heater worked and kept us toasty warm. Each cabin has its own water heater for plenty of hot showering after a long hike. The only suggestion I have is if you need extra back support, maybe bring your own mattress topper or a thick sleeping bag to add to the double bed for cushion. We really enjoyed this location as it was only a 2-3 minute drive into the charming town of Fayetteville. Best eats and cocktails we found at Secret Sandwich Society!

The staff at Ace adventure resort were incredibly kind and helpful. The check in process was easy. This property accurately matches the description and pictures listed on airbnb. Keep in mind that you will be relatively close to other cabins so it is not quite as secluded as one might expect. They do add an additional fee for pets. I felt like the price was kind of high for it being off season and after all the additional fees I am not sure that it was worth it.

We stayed four nights to ride Hatfield McCoy trails and it was absolutely perfect. Check in was super easy the place was exactly like the photos showed and was close to the trails. Can’t say enough how helpful the host was on being able to get directions and where to turn around at. We will definitely be back in the spring.
